If you’ve ever groaned “Oh, my aching back!” you are
not alone! Back pain affects 8 out of 10 people at
some time in their lives. Most of this back pain is said
to go away on its own, but it may take awhile. Staying
in bed for a more than a couple of days often makes
the pain worse…but what SHOULD you be doing?
In this workshop we will be examining options that
will complement your traditional health care routine.
Participants will take a look at their own posture and
learn to start with their “weakest link”. Gentle
stretches will be used to relax and elongate tight,
overworked, and shortened muscles. Underutilized,
weak, or lazy muscles can be trained, and will always
be performed in a manner that is appropriate for
YOU…don’t worry about keeping up with the music,
how much weight you can lift, or competing!
Corrective strategies will utilize yogic postures/asana,
breathwork, and meditation.
