Die-hard Godzilla fan? We've got good news for you: the world’s first store dedicated entirely to the Big G just opened in Shinjuku today. The store is located inside the Shinjuku Marui Annex complex – just a quick hop from the Godzilla head in Kabukicho – and has all sorts of monstrous merchandise up for grabs.
Fans can pick up fun stuff including T-shirts, smartphone cases, mugs and calendars, in addition to quirkier items like a stylish Godzilla-embroidered sukajan jacket and a number of collectible figurines. You'll even find offbeat collabs like the Sanrio-Godzilla series, which includes badges, shirts and phone covers featuring Godzilla hanging out with Hello Kitty and Gudetama in his cutest kawaii form.
Following the release of Shin Godzilla last year and with the upcoming animated film Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters set to hit cinemas this November, everyone's favourite radioactive lizard shows no signs of slowing down.
