We were scrolling through our social media feeds when this video popped up. Labelled as ‘Urban baseball is a thing now’, we couldn’t resist watching… and we were, erm, bowled over by the ending. Shot in Ogara, Kita-Kyushu, the scene progresses as more people join in on the urban baseball fun after they push a button – which turns out to be the logo for the Toyota G’s sports car series. Kudos to the advertising department at Toyota, we definitely didn’t see that one coming. Japan really is stepping up its game advertisement-wise, with last month’s Shiseido ad going viral. Who’s next? In the meantime, sign us up for some urban baseball…
