Go all out this Halloween with a 'zombie pizza' from Japanese pizza chain Aoki’s Pizza. The popular joint is known for its gory-themed pies come Halloween every year, and this time around, it looks especially creepy. This year’s rendition is named the ‘Blood-covered Zombino’; it resembles a zombie emerging form the pizza’s crust amidst a pile of salad.

This pizza is packed full of greens as it layers on lots of veggies like fresh mushrooms, onion and lettuce. If you’re curious what’s under all that veg, the zombie head is crafted out of prosciutto and mashed potatoes, while the eyes are made of green olives and teeth from white beans. The mouth is structured from beef ribs and the gnarly fingers are actually pork sausages. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper pizza without a good portion of cheese. Plus, the pizza also features Aoki's famous teriyaki chicken sauce.

Unfortunately, we can't get Aoki's Pizza here in Tokyo as the chain services mainly Nagoya, Aichi, Gifu, Shizuoka and Mie prefectures. The Blood-covered Zombino is only available through delivery – to order, visit here (Japanese only). The pizza is priced from ¥2,600 for a medium size and ¥4,200 for large. Want to see how it's made? Check out this video from Aoki's Pizza.

For something more accessible in Tokyo, we've got a list of Halloween-themed afternoon teas and parties in town. Not a fan of Halloween? There are still lots you can do in Tokyo this autumn.
