Sure, it was long overdue, but we're still very happy to announce that both our very own Time Out Café & Diner in Ebisu and Liquidroom, the music venue downstairs, are imposing a ban on indoor smoking from January 5.
With the Tokyo metropolitan government set to unveil a new anti-smoking ordinance in April 2018, we're looking forward to seeing more and more venues around the city follow suit.
Both Liquidroom's loft and Time Out Café & Diner have allowed smoking indoors until now, but only e-cigarettes will be permitted from January 5. If you want to smoke while in the building, head on down to the new outdoor smoking area next to the ground floor entrance.
