The new platform's functions are quite similar to Facebook; it's looking very neat and organised, and it's designed to help you plan your next holiday. You can create maps, browse venues that interest you, and if you want some objective, trustworthy content from critics and experts, you can easily click through to the articles to read more.
Once you have created an account, you can follow your friends to see what articles or venues they're recommending on TripAdvisor. It's a convenient way to create your own personalised travel itinerary, informed by trusted sources and reassuring recommendations from people you not only know but also share a common interest with. Your feed also stays relevant to your preferences as it familiarises itself with your interest as well as the destination you're looking to travel to. Be warned though: just browsing your feed will leave you with a serious case of wanderlust.
