A casual beer diner that's evolved from a single stall at Commune 246 into a successful multi-location operation in just a few years, German eatery and pub Schmatz has launched yet another venture – this time in highly competitive Kichijoji. Just like at the other locations, you get to choose from five varieties of house craft beer, including an orthodox German ale, a pleasantly bitter, full-flavoured pale ale and a power-packed Baltic porter, plus a location-specific, fruity Kichijoji Pilsner. And of course, wurst and schnitzel are also in the cards.
