Graphic designer and creative director Conal Kelly is stepping out with his debut solo show, Body Language. The exhibition brings together graphic works and apparel he’s built over the past decade, tracing both his personal trajectory and the shifting language of image culture in the digital age.
The pieces break down and reframe fragments of imagery we’re used to scrolling past, pointing out how online life folds the surreal and the everyday into the same frame.
Originally from the UK, Kelly started out at London’s cult retailer Goodhood before relocating to Tokyo in 2020. Since then, he’s designed and produced work for brands like Arc’teryx and The New Order Magazine. Body Language is the first time he’s put his own archive on display, outside of commercial work. Definitely one you don’t wanna miss
