Time Out says

The rare natural phenomenon known as ‘Diamond Fuji’ only happens twice a year, and sees the sunset align with the iconic mountain for a spectacular, jewel-like sight. The next opportunity to catch it is on Tuesday February 7 and Wednesday February 8 from the Tokyo City View Sky Deck at Roppongi Hills.

The observation platform gives you unobstructed 360-degree views of the city and is undoubtedly one of the best spots to capture Tokyo’s skyline. The sun is scheduled to set around 5pm, but we suggest getting there at 4.30pm to get a good spot and set up your camera.

Do note that tripods are not allowed, and the deck could be closed in case of rain or stormy weather.
