Seen all the art exhibitions in town? Then check out this colourful spectacle at Sunshine Aquarium in Ikebukuro, featuring photogenic fish, birds and reptiles. It's essentially a cross between a nature show and an art exhibition.
There are two main areas to discover. ‘Ikimono (living creatures) x Light’ hosts a variety of neon-coloured fish that can only be seen in the dark, or whose shimmering scales look especially beautiful under certain lights. ‘Ikimono x Colour’ features colourful animals set against a white background to really bring out their eye-catching features, or placed in equally colourful settings that match their vibrant appearance.
Don’t forget to pick up some exhibition-limited souvenirs as well as pose in front of 500 colourful noble scallops at the designated photo spot.
