What’s on

Shin Onsai

Shinjuku is hosting a ‘circuit-style’ music festival this November, featuring a diverse line-up of 39 artists, including prominent Japanese indie musicians and DJs such as DJ Moodman, Takkyu Ishino, Sunny Day Service, Tendre and more. The all-day event, which takes place at six venues across Shinjuku on November 8, allows attendees to hop between multiple venues on the same day to get plenty of bang for their yen. Tickets start from ¥4,000 and are currently on sale. Showing your wristband also grants access to discounts at participating shops and restaurants, such as a 10 percent discount at Okonomiyaki Osaka-ya. Shin Onsai invites you to enjoy a cultured day with plenty of music and food, plus an exploration of venerable music venues in Shinjuku, including Shinjuku Pit Inn and Shinjuku Marz. Wristbands handouts will be held from 10.30am at Cine City Square.
