Lego Hinamatsuri

Offering a playful alternative to the Tokyo region's more traditional Girls' Day doll exhibitions, on now at spots like Meguro Gajoen and Yokohama's Doll Museum, the Legoland Discovery Center in Odaiba shows off an ultra-detailed 4,000-piece display built by certified 'Lego craftsman' Yoshihiro Osawa. Check out the hina princesses and other mini-characters, and try putting together your own at the Master Builders' Workshop. You'll have to bring a kid along to get in though – entry is restricted to groups containing at least one child.
