Revel in all things British at this annual event at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi from August 31 to September 12 (except September 6). On the seventh floor of the department store you’ll find over 30 British brands of tea, sweets, homeware goods and knick-knacks. There’s also an eat-in space for you to enjoy classic desserts like lemon griestorte (¥990) and carrot cake (¥990) made with British Bake Off judge Mary Berry’s recipe, three-tier afternoon tea sets, crumpets and toffee meringue. There are limited servings of the desserts, so we recommend visiting earlier in the day rather than later.
Aside from eating and shopping, you’ll get to watch a Scottish bagpipe performance on September 3 at 2pm and 4pm, a pipe organ performance on September 2, 3, 4, 9 and 10 at 12pm, 3pm and 5pm, and Mr Blue Island’s talking pipe organ show on September 11 at 10am, 12pm and 3pm.
