Time Out says

[UPDATE: Oct 10] Due to Typhoon Hagibis, expected to bring strong wind and heavy rain to Tokyo the weekend of October 12-13, the event will be moved to the Kita Noh Theater.

This unique two-day event sees some of Japan's top noh actors performing outdoors in the beautiful gardens at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum. The two renowned plays featured are 'Kurozuka' ('The Black Mound') and 'Funa-Benkei' ('Benkei the Japanese Warrior on a Boat'). Noh is a traditional Japanese performing art that places a lot of emphasis on costumes, masks and highly stylised movements. This event, which is supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, will make a good introduction to the traditional theatre.

Besides the show, there will also be workshops, where you can not only learn about noh but also try out some of the traditional instruments used in the plays. Don't speak Japanese? Don't fret. The event will have English translations so you can understand what's happening every step of the way. For tickets, visit here.
