Time Out says

Shimokitazawa’s Senrogai is celebrating its one year anniversary with live performances, markets, food trucks and much more across two days. This entertainment complex built atop old railway tracks stretches for 1.7km between Higashi-Kitazawa and Setagaya-Daita.

Starting from Shimokitazawa Station’s east exit, the plaza right outside the ticket gate will have stalls with handmade goods from 10.30am to 6pm. There's also a second-hand clothing market from 11am to 7pm.

Walk a little further towards the Shimokita Senrogai Open Space and you’ll see plenty of food trucks. In the Shimokitazawa Senrogai complex, you can try a honey tasting workshop (¥2,000 at Shimokita Engeibu Koya), fill up on tacos by Kitade Tacos, watch a live painting event and much more.

Head towards Higashi-Kitazawa and you can also enjoy the festivities at Reload’s 2nd Anniversary, including live entertainment and pop-up shops. Go a little further into Setagaya-Daita and there’s a craft beer fest, too, with both local and international beers.

The plaza in front of Setagaya-Daita Station will have a farmers' market from 10am to 6pm on both days, as well as a free mochi-tsuki (rice cake pounding) event at 11.30am on Saturday. Make sure to get a numbered ticket that will be distributed from 10.30am – only 500 will be treated to a serving of freshly made mochi.
