Tokyo Film Club has been running for six years, curating screenings that pull together creatives, film nerds and anyone tired of Hollywood reruns. For their 49th night, they’re showing Park Chan-wook’s Oldboy – the 2003 revenge classic that set the stage for everything from Parasite to Netflix’s current wave of Korean thrillers.
Screening happens at Just Another Space in Nakameguro, with drinks, BYOB and subtitles in both English and Japanese. It’s a great way to get connected with like-minded movie lovers for the kind of night you definitely won’t find over at Toho Cinemas.
