The Odaiba waterfront has always been a dynamic part of the city with its stunning Rainbow Bridge and its replica of the Statue of Liberty. With the area set to become a central location for a large portion of the Summer Games, the waterfront now also features the iconic Olympic rings, making for a fitting photo op.
Minutes away from the Olympic Village, Odaiba and Ariake will serve as the competition venues for sports including BMX racing and skateboarding. These two areas will be particularly buzzing during the Games as people walking along the Olympic promenade will be able to see the Olympic cauldron and possibly even observe athletes warming up and training for their events.
