Future Proof: A Wearable Tech Fashion Show says
We’re delighted to announce the 19th Annual Subtle Technologies Festival, taking place May 12 to 15 in Toronto. This year’s version of Subtle Technologies, SEAMLESS VISIONS: New Textiles + Wearable brings 5 unique programs, showcasing innovations and cutting-edge research in the art and science of textiles.

Opening the festival at The Gladstone Hotel, Future Proof is an experimental fashion show that features collaborations between teams of artists, designers and technologists. Using diverse materials and methods of construction, each set of looks explores a different facet of wearable tech for a glamorous and avant-garde runway show. Highlights of the evening include: a wearable tech performance by singer Kimya Hypolite, a screening of video art about experimental textiles and a VIP presentation by wearables author and curator Marie O’Mahony.

$75 (VIP) / $25 (regular) / $18 (student/senior/arts worker)
