As a speaker or workshop leader, your session description and biography are two of the most important elements not just of your sales and marketing, but of your actual talk. Combined, they set the stage for your talk; they provide credibility for you as the speaker; and, they establish a starting point for the audience. In other words, your talk starts from the moment you engage your audience’s minds… which is when they read or hear your presentation description and your biography.
And perhaps most importantly, your topic description and bio help you clarify for yourself the key points and the value for your audience – which in turn boosts your confidence as a speaker.
