The first Annual Trinity Bellwoods Potluck

On August 24th Health Canada will come out with new Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). While the government has honoured the Allard ruling allowing all cannabis patients the right to grow, dispensaries remain illegal across Canada and there is no where for patients to legally access edibles.

Celebrate change and foster resistance at this medible potluck! There is no legal commercial market for edibles, despite the R v. Smith ruling that Canadians have the right to access cannabis in all of its forms. Due to the Project Claudia raids across Toronto, edibles are being taken off the shelves in many dispensaries. Patients are forced to make their own edibles or trade with other patients. Budz was founded to create access, as trading is honoured as a legal right for adults in states like Colorado long before recreational storefronts were accessible. Washington State also allows personal growing and trading while they sort out store front distribution.

While Health Canada prepares the task force to release a report, we urge all Canadians to participate in the consultation this month. Don't wait for the government to legaize pot, share your medicine with other adults to provide true access while the government sorts out legalization. Come on out August 24th to show your resistance, we want access now!

Remember to bring something infused to share. Please note this is a cash free event, trades only.
