The event creator says
Sunday August 23rd marks the official Go Topless Day, which always falls on the closest Sunday to Women’s Equality Day, which is August 26th. This is a global, peaceful protest that was founded in the US by spiritual leader Rael that claims women should have the same legal right to go bare-chested in public as men.

Oasis Aqualounge believes in sexual freedom and equality for women so we have created our own version of the Go Topless march. We want to welcome friends and guests of Oasis Aqualounge to join us in this fun and public march down Yonge St. We are asking anyone interested to meet us at the venue, as we will gather at the front of the building and make our way.

This march will welcome men, women, trans and non-binary folks. The march will come full circle and end up at Oasis Aqualounge.

Due to the policy of ‘Staycation Sunday,’ single men are not permitted to enter the venue until 8:00pm that night. Admission to enter the club is: women-$20, couples-$80.

Bring signage, noise makers and your fabulous breasts! It is suggested that men wear bikini tops/shirts in order to emphasize the irony of society’s expectations. However, one’s own comfort level is most important.

Staycation Sunday welcomes single women and couples from 11:00am-8:00pm.
