Are you dino-mad? Barmy for brontosauruses? Daft for diplodocuses? Very-into velociraptors? We might have your ideal business opportunity. A remote retail unit is going up for auction in Scotland – and it has its own (optional) dinosaur head.

Yep, you read that right. This property on the Scottish coast has a roaring (and frankly slightly terrifying) dinosaur head on the roof. In the seaside village of Cullen, it’s being sold on behalf of Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and has a guide price of £120,000.

It should be noted that the dinosaur head doesn’t actually come with the retail unit. According to The Scotsman, the head will be available through ‘separate negotiation’.

Even without the head, though, this is a pretty spectacular property. Sort of midway between Elgin and Banff and right on the Moray Firth coast, it’s in a really gorgeous part of the world. It’s not far from delightful attractions like Bow Fiddle Rock and Findlater Castle, as well as Cullen Links Golf Course.

Here are a few snaps of the retail property, dino head and all.

Here at Time Out, we cover all sorts of weird and wonderful property sales and auctions. Some recent whacky stuff to go on the market includes the country mansion of Sir Roger Moore, a miniature Grade II-listed castle and a Scottish kirk next to a 4,000-year-old stone circle.
