1. The little barn in Oxfordshire

This 19th-century Cotswold stone barn is surrounded by peaceful Oxfordshire countryside. Spend your time embracing all things natural, with a natural swimming pool that's a happy middle ground between your local lido and wild swimming, so enjoy a splash around in summer or make use of your wetsuit in the winter when things get a little nippier. The house sleeps six guests across three grand bedrooms, making it a top spot for family and friend getaways. When you're not rambling through the countryside, kick back and relax by the large fireplace or with a couple of drinks on the garden patio.
