Dads & Dudes Breweria, a Colorado brewery, released its first line of cannabis-infused beers back in 2015. Now, the beverage brand is getting ready to roll out one of the line's offerings, its General Washington's Secret Stash IPA, across the country thanks to a recent federal government ruling allowing the sale of the ale outside of the state.

“You know when we first released [the line] everybody believed, oh, a Colorado brewery doing that make sense. But they didn't think we could sell it outside Colorado," Mason Hembree, the brewery's co-owner told Colorado's 9 News. "The coolest part is the fact that we can bring the debate about cannabis and beer to the entire country."

But don't expect the beer to get you high. There is no actual THC, the compound that induces the usual psychoactive feelings associated to the consumption of marijuana, in the beer. The beverage is made with industrial hemp with extractions taken from cannabis mixed into the ale—so you'll only taste the marijuana without actually feeling any of the effects.

None of the brewery's three different Canna-Beer ales—Secret Stash IPA, Sativa IPA and Indica Double IPA—feature active THC.
