Happy National Pancake Day, America!
The International House of Pancakes (aka IHOP) is celebrating by giving out a free, short stack of original buttermilk pancakes to customers until 7pm tonight (some locations will offer the promotion until 10pm).
The stack usually costs $4.79 and the chain is asking customers to instead make a donation to one of its partnered charities—Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Shriners Hospitals for Children—in the hopes of raising at least $3.5 million that will help kids fight critical illnesses.
