I peeked.

An anonymous Starbucks barista seems to have leaked a photo of the company's holiday cup, clearly an object worthy of national attention.

The image, posted on Imgur by redditor DasUberSquid, follows a slew of pictures posted by other baristas of the boxes in which the cups are stored, all labeled: "No peeking until November 10."

"I'm the designated rebel in our kiosk," DasUberSquire wrote when uploading the image.

Although Starbucks has yet to confirm whether this will be the actual design, the Internet is buzzing about it. Some Reddit users believe the depicted plant to be a coffee shrub while others believe it to be a bird sitting in holly (a reference to Christmas). Given last year's endless complaints about the cups' supposed lack of holiday spirit, we surely hope for this year's creation to be Christmas-related.

Before the holiday cups' December debut, Starbucks will roll out new green cups, starting today. “The green cup and the design represent the connections Starbucks has as a community with its partners (employees) and customers,” chairman and CEO Howard Schultz said in a press release. “During a divisive time in our country, Starbucks wanted to create a symbol of unity as a reminder of our shared values, and the need to be good to each other.”
