This year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (airing tonight at 10pm EST on CBS) promises to be as entertaining as ever. With performances by Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and Bruno Mars (and a very awkward interaction between exes Abel Tesfaye, of The Weeknd, and model Bella Hadid), the show was taped in Paris, France for the first time in its history.
Curious to know all we can about the models walking the show, we created this handy little map illustrating all of their countries of origin. Interestingly enough, in what seems to echo our era's hyper-connectivity and overall modern breaking of barriers, less than half of the 54 models are from North America—including Jasmine Tookes, who will be wearing the much coveted Fantasy Bra, an emerald-and-diamond-encrusted piece with over 9,000 precious gems (450 carats!) designed by Eddie Borgo and handcrafted by AW Mouzannar.
Other notable takeaways: All the South American women are Brazilian and all of the Asian women are Chinese; America is the highest represented country; there are no Middle Eastern models participating in the show.
And, in case you aren't already stalking them, the map includes links to all of the women's Instagram accounts. For reference, we reproduce the full model lineup below:
