"All Bruno Mars needs is some wine and some wet wipes," says James Corden while riding through Los Angeles alongside Bruno Mars on last night's episode of Carpool Karaoke. After establishing that wine and wet wipes are really all that Mars requests in his dressing rooms, the duo decides to make up a song about the eclectic demand. Here is what Corden comes up with:

"Pop the cork and wipe down! Pop the cork and wipe down... Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey.... Stop! Wait a minute. Wipe my face, put some liquor with it!"

This, of course, isn't the only hilarious moment on the segment.

While singing along to his "Versace on the Floor" (Corden comments on the lyrics:  "The line 'I unzip the back and watch it fall' is very romantic but when I get home with my wife and she says 'Can you undo this?' it takes me about 4 to 6 minutes and all of the romance is gone... and then you've got the Spanx. You ignore the Spanx in this song!"), Mars teaches Corden a few basic tenets of R&B: how to shimmy your shoulders just right, how to "hypnotize her" with your fingers and, of course, how to lick your lips ("Cause it ain't R&B unless you're licking the lips," says the singer).

After highlighting some of Mars' greatest hits ("24K Magic," "Locked Out of Heaven," "Who Knew," "Grenade," "Uptown Funk"), commenting on Mars' seemingly perennial happiness (Corden: "If I was wearing that level of silk, I would be happy as well") and trying on different hats (Mars: "[I always wear hats] because I don't know what to do with [this hair]"), the episode concludes with "Perm," during which the duo wears the same exact Mars-inspired outfit (XXIV hat, gold chain, Hawaiian ensemble). What does it feel like to dress like the great Bruno Mars? "I've never felt more alive," says Corden.
