"Oy-vey," exclaims Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson after entering the world of Jumanji in the first trailer for the film's remake, scheduled to drop next Christmas. Coincidentally, that's the first reaction we had after watching the first few seconds of the clip.

Differing from the 1995 original by turning the iconic board game into a video game, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle follows four teenagers—Spencer (Alex Wolff), Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain), Bethan (Madison Iseman) and Martha (Morgan Turner)—as they find the game in an old storage room and are catapulted into the jungle after choosing their in-game avatars and pressing start. The twist: They are trapped in the bodies of the characters they chose... At which point the Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan take over the film.

At first glance unnecessary (the original production starring Robin Williams is a masterpiece, why dare re-make it?), the movie actually seems to be pretty... hilarious? Check out the trailer above.
