We need this McDonald's walk-through in America—right now

No longer will you have to gorge on frozen leftovers, wait for you late-night pizza delivery or scour your home for anything remotely edible once back from a long night of drinking. Most importantly, you'll never again have to force your designated driver (or taxi) to stop by a drive-through to pick up some food... That is, if you're in the U.K.

Following the opening of a new club in the area, Broadway, the manager of a McDonald's in Llandudno, North Wales, decided to open a separate lane for walk-through, drunk needs.

"Between the hours of 2:30am and 4am, customers will be able to walk through a separate lane and order meals," reports The Sun.

Bring on the late night Big Macs.

"As the restaurant is in the process of securing a 24 hour license, customers can only use the drive-through to order food at night, so the 'walk through' is just a play on how customers can come and enjoy a nice meal, later in the evening," said a McDonald's spokeswoman.

In addition to yet again confirming the world's obsession with all things fast food (whether drunk or not), the initiative also shed a light on the already tried-and-tested power of social media. On the day of the first walk-through opening, a McDonald's staff member announced the news of the experiment on his Facebook account and urged all his friends to share—a clearly successful publicity method.

Now, if we could only ask our favorite shopping destinations to stay open late-night, we'd consider surrendering our precious sleeping hours for some real fun.
