Expecto Patronum!
Ever wonder what your Patronus, the spirit animal/good-luck charm first introduced on Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as the main protection against evil dementors, would be if your deepest wish (becoming a wizard) were granted? Now you can find out.
Written by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling, the Patronus 3D quiz was just released on Pottermore, the franchise's definitive fan site, and Harry Potter aficionados are very excited. Take the quiz right here.
On Twitter, Rowling revealed that she wrote the test "ages ago" and, when first taking it, her Patronus was a pine marten ("I was happy, because my fondness for weaselly creatures is well documented). However, taking it again last week, she "found that it had changed (which, as we know, can happen)." Her new Patronus? A heron.
Prompting you to follow your instincts when selecting answers, the quiz takes just a few minutes to complete (choose between "salt" and "sweet" and between "leaf," "blade," and "thorn," among other prompts).
