Looking to binge watch season 2 of Black-ish this weekend? You have until Wednesday to download all episodes for free, thanks to iTunes.

The Emmy-nominated show about an upper-middle class African American family, which has been praised for bringing diversity to TV sitcoms, returns to ABC for season 3 on September 21—which gives you just enough time to watch (or re-watch?) all 24 episodes of the second season after downloading them at no cost on iTunes

You might want to pay special attention to the 16th episode of the season, "Hope," which deals with police brutality—a topic that has taken over national news headlines in recent months.

“We are not Law & Order; we don’t want to rip stuff from the headlines,” said Kenya Barris, the show's creator, at the Television Critics Association summer 2016 press tour.  “And I think the best way to approach this show is what would this family actually be talking about. [...] We’ve made this show in such a way that we don’t really try to land on a particular point of view, but we do try to offer every side. [...] So we’ve got such a great cast together that everyone has a point of view, and we try to leave it up to the audience and start a conversation and let them decide what they think about the particular topic."

It seems like our binge watching habits might actually lead to some sort of current events discussion—and we're all for that.
