Get ready for a fab, frosty fun because Slurpee Day hits 7‑Eleven stores nationwide tomorrow—Thursday, July 11. As it's done every year since 2002, the world’s favorite convenience chain is treating everyone to a free 12-ounce Slurpee. But this year, the brand’s birthday bash is bigger, bolder and a bit weirder. Here's what's on tap.

The star of the show, of course, is the free small Slurpee. All you have to do is walk into your local 7-Eleven, Stripes or Speedway between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and grab your icy prize. For 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards members, there’s an extra treat: scan your rewards info at checkout and unlock a coupon for a second free small Slurpee redeemable anytime through Thursday, July 31. Double the brain freeze, double the fun.

This year, Rewards members can also show their Slurpee love with a “tongue-too”—temporary tongue tattoos that reveal the Slurpee logo in blue, green, red or purple when you take your first slurp.

Looking for a new flavor? Mountain Dew Infinite Swirl makes its Slurpee debut this year. The limited-edition Slurpee cup also lands on July 11, designed to celebrate every wild flavor combo you can create.

Beyond the drinks, expect discounts on 7‑Eleven merch and other in-store surprises. But fair warning: though stores rarely run out of Slurpees, it’s happened before—so plan to get there early. And if you’re feeling extra lucky, check out the 7-Eleven and Speedway apps on Slurpee Day for a chance to win a $5,000 prize giveaway.

Since the Slurpee’s debut in 1966, this cult-favorite drink has become a symbol of summer, neon tongues and pure frozen joy. This July 11, 7‑Eleven’s keeping that tradition alive—plus a little extra for the loyal fans.
