No, Amtrak’s not recreating the Hogwarts Express, but fans of the Harry Potter series who also ride the rails will appreciate this major partnership between the company and the acclaimed Broadway show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

As the official rail transportation company of the show, Amtrak is offering members of its Amtrak Guest Rewards program the opportunity to use rewards points to purchase tickets to the show at the Lyric Theater in New York City. Plus, Rewards members can earn points when purchasing tickets to the show.

Wizarding World fans in the company’s Northeast Corridor region from Washington, D.C. to Boston will also be able to catch a glimpse of (and ride on) four specially-wrapped trains celebrating Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The eye-catching trains will feature the show’s logo along with Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy and new favorite characters Albus Potter, Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Granger-Weasley.

“While this train won’t be stopping at Platform 9 ¾, you’ll be sure to have a magical journey on the NEC, “ Amtrak stated in a press release. The trains will run between Washington, D.C., and Boston between April 28 and June 25.

More information on Amtrak’s Guest Rewards Program can be found on their website. Amtrak Guest Rewards members can also register with Audience Rewards, the official rewards program for Broadway, for free.
