Carnival Cruise Lines has several itineraries sailing to The Bahamas, but soon it will have its own exclusive port, located on the south coast of the island of Grand Bahama. Called Celebration Key, the private port destination will welcome Carnival’s first ships in July 2025.

"As the first port destination exclusively designed for Carnival Cruise Line guests, Celebration Key will provide the ultimate Carnival fun in the sun, immersed in the natural beauty of Grand Bahama. Our guests have a wide range of ships, homeports and itineraries that visit our new exclusive destination to choose from," said Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy.

Celebration Key will offer guests “a key to paradise no matter how they define it.” The area includes a mile-long, white sand beach with plenty of activities designed for fun and relaxation. Guests will enjoy authentic Bahamian shopping and dining, plus adventurous excursions around the island and its freshwater lagoons—the largest in the Caribbean. The cruise pier can accommodate two Excel-class ships and will give passengers direct access to the Key.

Twelve ships from eight home ports—Miami, Canaveral, Galveston, New Orleans, Baltimore, Jacksonville, Norfolk and Mobile—will sail to Celebration Key.

Carnival promises more specifics about the destination in the near future, but spots on more than 400 cruises to Celebration Key are available to book now. The cruise line plans to add an additional 100 itineraries on six more ships in the coming months. Visit the Carnival website to view and book 2025-26 Celebration Key itineraries.
