Celebrate the end of 2020 by freezing some personal items and dropping them from 30 feet in the air

Say goodbye to that bad 2020 juju.

The good news: this pretty horrible year is almost over. The bad news: who is to say that 2021 will bring with it better luck for humanity? Alas, all we can do is hope for the best and try to shake off all that 2020 was about by, perhaps, indulging in some voodoo-like end-of-year activities. A good place to start is alongside Oregon-based craft brewery Hop Valley, which will deep-freeze some of your unwanted items and then drop them from 30 feet in the air to, quite literally, obliterate all the bad vibes you associate with your former properties.

RECOMMENDED: Christmas trees are, indeed, more expensive this year than last

As far as gimmicks are concerned, this is one we will gladly get behind.

The send-off is officially called "Cyro Drops" and all people 21-years-old and over can participate. Here's how: request a pre-paid USPS box (12 1/4 inches x 12 1/4 inches x 6 inches) on the brewery's official website; fill up said box with anything you want to freeze up; send the package to the brewery by December 22 and tune into an Instagram livestream on December 31 to witness the shattering live.

Fun fact: to freeze your bad juju, the company will make use of the same Cryo Hops technology that it employs to freeze its hops at subzero temperatures.

Before your start gathering your things, here are a few items that the company is asking you not to send over: stuffed animals, "that hoodie from your ex that you're still holding on to" (donate that!) and "all the books you read with the extra time on your hands." As for that silicone baking mat you used back in May to try and bake some sourdough: pack that up and send it off to oblivion.

Bye bye, 2020.
