Fans of Fixer Upper can now plan a stay in Chip and Joanna Gaines’ latest creation—a renovated, redesigned hotel in Waco, Texas. The hotel is set to open on November 1, and reservations are open for booking.

Hotel 1928 is the latest project from the couple who popularized “farmhouse chic” design through their show, their store, the Magnolia Network and their many other ventures. The hotel, named for the year the structure was initially built, is a complete renovation of the Grand Karem Shrine Building. It’s located in the Gaines’ hometown of Waco and is just a short walk or drive from Magnolia Market at the Silos, which draws fans from all over in its own right.

The hotel will feature three eateries, 33 guest rooms and more than 6,600 square feet of event space. Guests can grab a coffee at the cafe, seasonal dishes at Bertie’s on the hotel's rooftop terrace, or Southern classics with a Texas twist at Brasserie at Hotel 1928. There’s also a library and retail shop on site. The Gaines’, of course, designed the rooms and event spaces and chose the restaurant furnishings. Guests can expect amenities—including custom bath products—that reflect the couple’s aesthetic.

In a post on her blog, Joanna wrote that “Chip and I are drawn to projects that emphasize the value of home,” and explains that the project “bridges what we’re most passionate about—home, hospitality, and restoration.” She continues, “What it really comes down to is our desire to create a place where people feel welcomed home.”

Reservations are available on the hotel’s website for stays through April 2024. If you can’t make it there, you can follow the couple’s renovation process on a new show premiering in November on the Magnolia Network called Fixer Upper: The Hotel.
