Beloved singer, actress and philanthropist Dolly Parton was on hand to celebrate the recent grand opening of the HeartSong Lodge & Resort. It joins the DreamMore Spa & Resort as her second resort at her Dollywood theme park in East Tennessee.

The family-oriented, rustic-chic mountain lodge honors Dolly’s modest upbringing in her Tennessee home, but with all the upscale amenities you’d want during a stay at Dollywood. Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, the 302-room resort blends harmoniously with the surrounding natural beauty, a reflection of her love for the Smokies. It’s just a short drive from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, offering easy access to both nature and the fun of Dollywood.

The homey design incorporates elements of the nature and wildlife of the Smokies as well as Dolly’s favorite—butterflies. Rooms come in various sizes, including larger suites with bunk beds to accommodate families. Some rooms feature balconies overlooking the site.

The property includes a seasonal pool with a waterfall and splash pad, plus a year-round hot tub. While the resort offers easy access to Dollywood (plus trolley service for guests, TimeSaver passes and early entry on certain days), there are plenty of on-site activities to keep everyone entertained. Enjoy a campfire experience with s'mores, singalongs, reading experiences featuring books from Imagination Library or arts and crafts. Musicians wander the property playing the banjo or mandolin.

Dining options include Ember & Elm, which serves upscale takes on Southern favorites. An all-day bar serves cocktails and light bites, while a private dining experience in the Acoustic Lobby features glass cases with Dolly memorabilia ranging from instruments to her most glamorous outfits.

Standard room rates begin at $269 per night on weekdays and $309 per night on weekends. Booking is available at dollywood.com/heartsong.
