Need some extra cash to get through your holiday gift list? This might interest you: Philadelphia-based company Empire Covers is offering a lucky someone $1,000 to binge-watch eight road-trip movies from the comfort of your very own couch.

RECOMMENDED: Avoid any tantrums (from kids or parents) with the best family vacations in the USA

"We are big movie fans, and our affinity for the cars and RVs that people use on road trips should be apparent," reads the promotion's official website. "To help get in the spirit of the holidays and the road trips they bring, we want to run a contest to find the perfect person to binge-watch some of the most classic road trip movies of all time and help us analyze themes, lines and plot points that have made them classics."

Job requirements include a strong attention to detail, the availability to watch all eight movies, "a fun and engaging writing style" and, of course, an undying passion for the film industry. You also need to be 18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to apply.

In addition to watching each film in its entirety, you'll have to complete a digital worksheet per movie and chronicle the entire experience both on your Facebook and Twitter accounts. You have until December 31 of this year to finish off your tasks.

Below, find a list of pre-selected movies you can choose to binge-watch:

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
National Lampoon’s Vacation
Dumb and Dumber
Little Miss Sunshine
Mad Max: Fury Road
Blues Brothers
Almost Famous
Thelma and Louise
Cannonball Run
Rain Man
Midnight Run
Zombieland
Easy Rider
Smokey and the Bandit
Borat
Green Book
It Happened One Night

Fair warning: you have until today at 3pm EST to apply for this dream job. Find the application right here. The company will select and notify the winner by this upcoming Friday, December 18. Good luck!
