Need something savory to break up your diet of sugar cookies and eggnog? McDonald's is giving away free six-piece McNuggets on Saturday, December 19. The gratis morsels are part of the fast food empire's 11-day holiday giveaway—and there are plenty more freebies to come.
How do you cash in? All orders must be placed through the McDonald's app with a minimum purchase of $1. If you're looking to do it on the cheap, a soda or dessert will easily meet the minimum. But really, who's ordering nuggets without fries?
In the spirit of the holiday season, each free menu item is tied to a beloved holiday character, with the nuggets drawing their inspiration from Gizmo, the sweet Mogwai of Gremlins fame. If complimentary McNuggets aren't your jam (how?), there are still five days of freebies to check out, including hotcakes on Sunday and McFlurries on Tuesday. Take a look at the full lineup below:
- Sunday, December 20: Free hotcakes (Buddy the Elf)
