If you're tired of trying to figure out how to properly use Zoom, this news is for you: Google Meet—the highly-rated video conferencing program by the search engine giant—is now free for anyone with a Gmail account.

Not to overwhelm the system, the feature is being rolled out in phases, so not everyone will gain access immediately. Sign up right here to receive a notification when it's your turn.

Regular users will get to host meetings of up to 100 participants, although they'll be limited to 60 minutes per session starting September 30. Folks who signed up for G Suite, on the other hand, can record and save their calls, host up to 250 participants in each session and live stream it to up to 100,000 viewers.

Google's offering is likely the result of the current state of affairs: as people hunker down at home, video conference sessions have become essential portions of everyone's workflow and the tech company obviously wants in. One thing Google can't guarantee just yet, though? The presence of a goat or a llama at your next meeting.
