The Internet helps us out once more: Girl Scouts, which had suspended door-to-door sales and booths of their famously delicious cookies to "protect girls and communities in the wake of COVID-19," announced that folks all around the country will now be able to order the treats online.

Buy a few boxes for yourself but also consider paying it forward by donating some to the "first responders, volunteers and local causes" that are hit the hardest during this global quarantine. Follow the easy prompts on the organization's website to do so.

Options abound: Samoas, Thin Mints, Trefoils, Toffee-tastic and Lemon-ups are just some of the varieties available, each one costing you $5. Or opt for a $29-$34 gift box, which holds five packages of your choosing.

According to the website, delivery will take between 2 and 15 business days, unless "affected by COVID-19 restrictions."

As is always the case, your purchase will help fund the program. "You’re helping sustain life-changing, girl-led programs, experiences, and learning for local Girl Scouts. You’re also making it possible for them to support the causes they care about most, especially in challenging times like these," reads the site. "Every year, girls decide exactly what to do with their earnings—and 100 percent of the money stays local! In fact, cookies have helped Girl Scouts give back to our communities ever since the first-known sale of cookies by Girl Scouts in 1917."

Our sweet tooth is tickling.
