Given the current world order, we wouldn't blame you for considering a possible move somewhere outside of the United States. But if it's an inner country relocation that you're after, you might want to consult WalletHub's latest study surrounding the fastest growing cities in the United States.

The finance website compared 515 cities of different population sizes based on their sociodemographic profile and their disposition towards jobs and the economy. In total, 17 metrics were taken into account, from increase in number of startups to foreclosure rates, median house prices, population growth and more.

"Experts might not agree on the 'best' or the 'right' recipe for rapid economic growth, but some cities know the key ingredients for long-term prosperity better than others," reads an official blog post associated to the study. "Patterns emerge within those cities, allowing us to identify what factors contribute to a lasting cycle of growth."

In addition to the overall ranking, the site highlights cities for outperforming others in certain categories. When looking at the highest job growth, for example, six different towns took first place: Frisco, Sugar Land and McKinney in Texas, Meridian in Indiana, Murfreesboro in Tennessee and Bend in Oregon. As for small cities with the highest growth, Fort Myers in Florida took the cake followed by Milpitas in California and Town 'n' Country in Florida. The small city with the lowest growth percentage is Erie in Pennsylvania.
