Travelers in Boston and New York have a new option for flying to Europe. JetBlue has announced new routes to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, and flights are now on sale at a discounted rate.

Booking to the Dutch capital city is now available from both John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport. Service from New York to Amsterdam will begin on August 29, while Bostonians will have to wait until September 20 for their chance to fly. Flights will run daily from each airport on JetBlue’s Airbus A321 Long Range aircraft.

Prices are very attractive at the moment, making it easy to take a vacation to one of Europe’s most exciting destinations. Seats on the route for US-originating travelers start at $479 roundtrip for JetBlue’s economy level, while upgrading to the premium "Mint" level will set you back $1,899 roundtrip. These introductory prices certainly won’t last, though it’s unclear for how long.

Flights to Amsterdam mark the third transatlantic destination for JetBlue. The airline launched flights to London in 2021, and more recently Paris in June 2022.

In a recent statement, JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes said "Entrenched legacy carriers have dominated this route for decades. Our transatlantic service demonstrates how JetBlue’s entrance into a new market lowers fares and benefits customers. We look forward to continuing expanding JetBlue’s transatlantic footprint and introducing customers traveling to and from Amsterdam to our award-winning service and to our highly-acclaimed Mint and core products at affordable fares."
