The 2000s icon will star opposite hunk Henry Golding.

Happy days: Lindsay Lohan has graced us with a teaser for a new Netflix rom-com she's working on.
Over on Netflix's official Instagram, the Mean Girls icon posted a photo of her holding up the script for Return To You, a new romantic comedy set in—how utterly fitting—the late 2000s.
Lohan’s recent career comeback (a "Lohanaissance," if you will) has been not only welcome but also very successful: The 40-year-old actress has led several other Netflix films, including 2022's Falling for Christmas, 2024's Our Little Secret and Irish Wish, not to mention last year's much-anticipated sequel Freakier Friday. So it goes without saying that we're excited for this one!
Here's everything we know so far about Lindsay Lohan's new rom-com Return to You.

The movie, which Lohan is producing, is set in 2008 and follows a powerful but lonely attorney who mistakenly receives a very emotional DVD from a dying woman addressed to her husband. Guided only by the clues on the disc, the lawyer sets out to find the woman’s spouse.
Along with leading lady Lindsay, Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians, Last Christmas, The Gentlemen) stars as Ben, Lohan’s character’s love interest. The cast also includes such famous faces as Saturday Night Live's Ego Nwodim, actor-comedian Randall Park (The Residence, Always Be My Maybe) and theater legend Victor Garber.
Behind the camera, Mark Waters (He’s All That, Mother of the Bride, La Dolce Villa) is directing and Eric Champnella is the writer. Brad Krevoy is also producing while Olivia Krevoy, Jimmy Townsend and Galen Fletcher are executive producers.
A set release date has not yet been revealed for the upcoming rom-com, but Return to You is expected to premiere in 2027 on Netflix. Stay tuned!
