Air travel can be a hassle, especially long flights that require a layover. While a layover gives you a chance to stretch your legs and get something to eat, the experience can vary greatly depending on which airport you’re flying through. To give you an idea of what your next layover experience might entail, Upgraded Points has revealed its ranking of the best airports in the U.S. for layovers.

To determine the rankings, Upgraded Points analyzed the 50 busiest airports in the U.S. based on factors like shopping and dining options, number of lounges, availability of charging stations, on-time flight performance, average length of delays and other important features that can make your next layover a dream or a nightmare.

Coming in at number one, San Diego International Airport offers the best layover experience overall. The airport is chock-full of amenities: 36 restaurants, 41 shopping options and 13 charging stations per mile. If your layover turns into an overnight, there are a wide range of nearby hotels (24) and off-airport restaurants (57). SAN is followed by Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and John Wayne Airport.
