An airline that creates its own ‘best new restaurants list’? Sounds like good motivation to book a flight.

Air Canada (which just added a batch of electric planes to its fleet) compiles the list annually via its enRoute magazine. This year's list is full of innovative news eateries worthy of a getaway. After all, many people say that a big part of travel’s draw is the chance to eat delicious food – so why not book travel around these restaurants? Be a gastrotripper and enjoy the journey!

Here’s Air Canada’s list of the best new restaurants for 2022:

This Crescent Heights Vietnamese restaurant is strong on surprises like grilled cheese served with a pho broth dipping bowl.

6. Hearts Tavern & Bar, Kimberley

Here’s a roadside tavern with options like Meyer lemon-spiked asparagus served with Château de Bourgogne cheese.

Turbocharged tacos are here!

We love the shoutout to David Bowie at this 40th floor steakhouse
