Act fast: flash sale on trains between Boston and D.C. ends June 28

With airfares skyrocketing and airport hassle increasing, train travel is looking mighty good right now. If you’re traveling between Boston and D.C. this summer, Amtrak is here for you.

The rail company just announced a flash sale on its speedy Acela trains linking the two major destinations. Acela trains have plenty of legroom, free Wi-Fi and travel at speeds of up to 150 miles per hour, so whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure this summer, Acela will get you there faster. And for a limited time—cheaper.

Now through June 28, you can save on Business Class and First Class travel in select cities between Boston and Washington, D.C. from Friday, June 30 through Monday, September 4. Sample one-way fares include Boston to NYC ($49 Business Class and $174 First Class), Philadelphia to Baltimore ($29 and $124), and NYC to D.C. ($49 and $199).

In addition to great fares and comfortable, convenient travel, First Class passengers will enjoy the recently-announced partnership with renowned restaurateur Stephen Starr—First Class cars feature exclusive dishes from several of STARR Restaurant Group’s iconic establishments including Buddakan, the Continental Mid-town, Pizzeria Stella and Adrian.
