It's the season of giving, and McDonald's is pulling out all the stops with a sleigh full of edible freebies. As part of its 11-day holiday giveaway, you can snag a free McFlurry in any size on Tuesday, December 22.

How do you claim your candy-laden ice cream treat? You'll need to place your order through the McDonald's app and spend at least $1. If you're looking for a low-cost but sensible pairing, a single cheeseburger or a small order of fries each ring up under $2. You could opt for the smaller, snack-size McFlurry, but why not upgrade to the regular size?

The fast food chain's holiday freebies are each paired up with a fictional holiday character, like Santa Claus, Buddy the Elf and John McClane. The McFlurry is appropriately inspired by Frosty the Snowman, the one with the corncob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal.

If you can't make it to the golden arches for a free McFlurry on Tuesday, December 22, there are still two more chances to cash in on free food this week. On Wednesday, December 23, McDonald's will be handing out free bakery items, including its new apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. On Christmas Eve, you can swing by for free chocolate chip cookies, no purchase necessary. Happy snacking!
