After pouring some out for beloved items taken off the menu forever, Taco Bell is now pouring some into a glass. To coincide with the launch of the fourth-meal icon's new Toasted Cheesy Chalupa, Taco Bell is releasing its own wine, which, naturally, should pair well with chalupa and thinking outside the bun.

Jalapeño Noir (yes, really) will be sold by the bottle and promises notes of wild strawberry, cherry and beetroot, according to an official news release, and the "silky" red wine will only be available for a limited time. The catch? It's only getting released in Canada.

The U.S. will at least get to enjoy the new Toasty Cheesy Chalupa—which crusts the outer shell with crunchy cheddar—in November, but when it comes to the wine, the Bell is keeping Jalapeño Noir local: The new release is made by Ontario vineyard Queenston Mile, and will be sold via For those in Canada age 19 and up, and who truly appreciate the finer things in life, the bottles will be available online starting Wednesday, September 16, and will come in three labels for all those collectors with willpower out there.

"Wine and cheese are simply meant to be together, so launching a new wine to go with the craveable, cheddary Toasted Cheesy Chalupa made perfect sense," Kat Garcia, the director of brand marketing, says in the release. "At Taco Bell Canada, we love to raise our glass to big, bold ideas that elevate our menu items, and pairing our Toasted Cheesy Chalupa with this Jalapeño Noir is no exception."

Jalapeño Noir will sell for $25 CAD (roughly $19 USD) online, and thanks to Uber Eats, select locations in Hamilton and Toronto can even deliver it straight to you. Now if only someone could smuggle some across the border for us.
